Lamination Machine Technician

Job description

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES:

• Manufacturing background.
• Lamination experience is a plus.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Must demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude. Working with hand tools and machine set-ups.
• Prepare tools and supplies for production run.
• Responsible for ensuring line is stocked and base material available for current and next line assignment.
• Feed and package lamination line as needed.
• Set up and run lamination line.
• Provide support and instruction to co-workers.

QUALITY:

• Ensures all product packages meet quality and quantity standards.
• Prepare samples for QA testing.
• Adheres to all quality protocols and sample collection procedures.

ADDITIONAL TASKS:

• Assist in machine clean out / tooling cleanup.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Strong written and verbal skills

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Operates forklift if licensed and needed or required.
• Keep records of daily production.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day on concrete floors.
• Ability to lift, from floor level in a crouched position to the waist level, materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years required (5 years preferred)
